You can send money to anyone with a valid email address. For them to collect their funds they need to register an account with Skrill – a process that takes moments.

Using skrill (monebookers) How much does it cost to send money?

Sending money to other individual customers incurs a fee of 1%, which is capped at €10 (or the equivalent in your currency).
 

This means that even if you send a large amount, the highest fee you will pay is €10 – and that’s regardless of the location of the recipient.

Sending money to merchants is completely free of charge.

If you want to send money in a currency different from your account currency, a currency conversion fee may be applied. We will of course inform you about the respective charge prior to the transaction.

Sending money is instant. 

Using skrill (monebookers) What details does someone need to send me money?

The sender will only need your email address regardless of whether they’re an individual or a business. Please never divulge additional information such as your credit card or bank account details.

Using skrill (monebookers) Do I need to register to be able to send money?

Not necessarily. If you wish to make a one-off or even multiple payments to a merchant, simply visit their website and select Skrill as your payment option, then follow the instructions. In cases like this we just ask you for a few details – there’s no need to create an account with Skrill. 

However, if you wish to send money to a friend or relative or to a bank account in a different country, you'll need to create a Skrill Digital Wallet. It doesn't take long. Just visit our Registration page and fill in the details requested.

Using skrill (monebookers) Can I send money between my Skrill accounts?

Yes, you can, simply login and click on the “Send  Money” button.

Please keep in mind that all transactions between accounts in different currencies will be subject to foreign exchange fees, based on the Skrill VIP fee structure.
